Carole Vasta Folley

Reviewed as a storyteller at heart, Carole Vasta Folley’s work lives at the intersection of trauma and hope. Her creative nonfiction is published in Hippocampus Magazine, The Bacopa Literary Review and others. An award-winning playwright, her most recent play, CONTROL TOP about gendered clothing’s impact on women, was created with support from the Vermont Arts Council and the National Endowment for the Arts. Her column, IN MUSING, has won multiple awards from NENPA and the National Society of Newspaper Columnists. When not bargaining with Guilthea (her personal goddess of deadlines), Carole is crafting her memoir in hybrid forms of CNF.
