Uma H. Demir

Uma H. Demir (she/her) is an MA student of English Studies in Berlin. Born in the United States but raised in Bosnia and Herzegovina, her fiction explores the bittersweetness of nostalgia, offering a vulnerable window into untold histories. Her passion for all things language reflects in her thesis in literary linguistics, her lyrical and evocative prose, and her creative work in Learning & Development.
