Shantanu M

Shantanu M is a writer and translator from India and a PhD student at Texas Tech University. He enjoys writing about languages, cities, and cinema. He previously worked as a reporter and a proof-reader before making the reckless choice of pursuing a career in academia. Shantanu is one of the translation scholars for the 2025 Bread Loaf Translators’ Conference.
