Lisa Chen

Lisa Chen is a Taiwanese American writer based in Seattle. She is a 2025 Tin House Summer Scholar and has received residencies and fellowships by Mesa Refuge, Anaphora Arts, Juniper Summer Writing Institute, and the Whitely Center. Deeply rooted in working class storytelling, she writes about generational grief and daughterhood. Her essays have appeared in The Seventh Wave, Moss, and more.
