Kira Santana

Kira Santana (she/her) resides in New York City, where she is a graduate student, dancer, and dog-mom to her dorgi, Hina. Her work is influenced by her experiences with chronic illness, grief, love and disability. Kira received the 2024 University of Hawai'i Biography Award for her memoir, The Waiting Room.
