Katy Van Sant

Katy Van Sant is a writer whose fiction, nonfiction and translations have appeared in Stranger’s Guide, The Writing Disorder, The Plentitudes, The San Francisco Creative Writing Institute’s Dispatches from Quarantine, and other publications. Her story “Pop-pop” won honorable mention in Glimmer Train's 2013 story contest and her excerpt placed third in the 2019 Mendocino Coast Writers' Conference novel competition. Her creative nonfiction piece “COVID Zombie” was aired on KQED’s Perspectives in September of 2021. She lives with her partner and children in San Francisco, California.
