Armon Eugene Newsom

Armon Eugene Newsom is a poet hailing from Nashville, TN and currently resides in Washington D.C. for the matriculation of his MSW at Howard University. With a background in Psychology and Africana Studies, his poetry takes a psychoanalytic approach in service to teasing out the unconscious, its desires, its vices, and its crimes. His work also concerns the locus of Black Queerness in social death and how one comes to speak and think in the perpetual processes of Objectification and Abjectification.
