Monica L. Woo

Monica L. Woo is a first-generation Chinese immigrant from Hong Kong, who went from waitressing in Alaska to the executive suites of global corporations. With her stories, she hopes to inspire all people that life is not about survival of the fittest but evolving to better versions of ourselves. Her creative nonfiction piece, "Dowry of Life" was published in The Dillydoun Review, Issue 2 Vol. 1. Her flash nonfiction, "The Escort Nun," was featured in Rigorous, Vol. 5, Issue 1. "Memory Dance" was published in The Dillydoun Review, Issue 2 Vol. 2.
