Monica L. Woo

Monica L. Woo is an Asian American writer whose works have been published on The Plentitudes, GRIFFEL, J. New Books, The Bangalore Review and Rigorous. A nonfiction piece was rewarded second place by The League of Utah Writers Olive Woolley Burt Awards. Alternating Current Press has accepted another work for publishing in 2024. The Moth Mainstage Events featured her as a storyteller at the 2024 global season premiere, as well as at other Mainstage events. Monica and her family were early Chinese pioneers to relocate from Hong Kong to Anchorage, Alaska, at the start of the oil boom in 1968.
